開発経緯
Medical Care Corporationは、「高齢者の健康と クオリティ・オブ・ライフの向上」の経営理念のもと、
1999年に米国カルフォルニア州アーバイン市（2010年ニューポートビーチ市に移転）に創設されたデータ分析を専門とする企業です。
Medical Care Corporationでは、高度な統計学的・数学的手法を用い、認知症関連の臨床データや認知機能アセスメントデータの分析を行っています。
また、認知症の予防、早期発見・治療に関する医療診断、臨床研究のための、認知機能アセスメントの精度やプロトコルの向上・改善に関する研究開発も行っています。
本テストは、国際的に利用される高次機能検査バッテリーであるCERADやADAS-Cogの10単語想起テストを基に、独自のプロトコルとアルゴリズムを組み合わせ、
人口統計学的に認知機能を客観評価しています。日本国内では株式会社ミレニアとの提携に基づき、日本語版が開発され提供が開始されています。
